Christian Counseling – Adolescents, Adults, Couples & Families
Using Christian principles alongside my clinical training and expertise, I work with individuals, couples and families to navigate their mental health concerns by realigning to Christian values, reconnecting with Biblical truths and reflecting on their relationship with God. Find out just how much your faith and mental health intersect.
Do you feel disconnected from your faith? Are you struggling with anger or resentment towards God? Is your suffering interfering with your Christian worldview? Are you looking for scriptural references to apply to your painful thoughts and feelings? If this sounds familiar, not only is it normal for many Christians, but it’s also human—and it doesn’t have to stay this way. Through the use of faith-based therapy, we will explore the relationship between your mental and emotional suffering and your spirituality. What does God say about our mind, emotions, suffering, relationships, thoughts? Does our faith in Him protect us from mental health concerns? Is it okay to not be okay as a Christian? While using scripture, prayer and music as tools to realign with Christian principles and truths, you will also learn how to co-implement practical strategies to address disruptive thoughts, feelings and behaviors.
Together, our work will be a means of refocusing your mind, while God moves to mend your heart of faith.
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
